We are fortunate at Mount Vernon Nazarene University to have employees who are dedicated to making
our campus the best it can be by demonstrating excellence in their jobs. They make extra efforts
beyond their normal job duties to assist others. They also try to ensure the happiness of others and
to get the job done.
The Excellence in Service award can be given to an employee by anyone who feels the employee has
provided superior service in a particular task or has gone above and beyond their normal responsibilities
to do something special for you.

office will recognize the recipient in the next issue of In Focus, and all recipients' names will
be placed in a drawing for a special gift.
